1 - MCE Membrane Filters

  • MCE (for Mixed Cellulose Ester), a biologically inert mixture of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate,
  • Hydrophilic and suitable for aqueous solutions (pH 4 - 8),
  • Excellent flow rates and highest throughput results for a membrane owing to the uniform microporous structure,
  • High non specific adsorption (high protein binding capacity),
  • Widely used for microbiological analysis (micro-organism counts, E.coli detection), pre-filtration, clarification, sterilization,…
  • Autoclavable (121 °C), and temperature resistant up to 130°,
  • Pore Size (µm): 0.1 - 0.2 - 0.45 - 0.80 - 1.2 - 3.0 - 5.0 - 8.0,…
